![]() My idea (actually others) to have the bets not lose on the comeout roll (7) but count the rolls (other than 7) actually increases the frequency of wins but that would make the payoffs something like 80 and 20 for 1. The wait is largely increased, meaning the 'wins' take even longer and that should make most stop making the bet, especially with reduced payoffs. And since these are really sidebets, that should probably be a desired feature. As a result, (correct me if I'm wrong), the house edge would not change.īasically, they'd work the same as the FireBet: A single bet for the life of the shooter. Sure, the bets don't get marked for hitting any number when the come out is something other than an 7, but they aren't wiped out when it is a 7 either. Turn them off for any come out roll - including mid-roll come outs. And, I assume that the dealers hate having to take them down and set them up all the time, plus all those hop Red bets.Ī comment on their recent You Can Bet On That podcast made me think of a simple way to improve the ATS bet, as well as the Repeater bet. While I realize that the pencil pushers at the casino probably love this, it really slows the game down. When I was playing craps with Mark & Dr Mike at Gamblepalooza, they were making bets on the ATS, but also hopping Red on any come out roll to protect their ATS bet. I think I came up with a simple way to improve the All / Tall / Small and Repeater bets. ![]()
